Fun times Outside!

Our weather has become increadible. Yes, it is still cool in the mornings and evening but during the day it is just perfect. So  much so that we have been spending lots of time outside. We play in the back yard, ride our bikes and take trips down to the beach!
Caley just love popsicles!! She snuck one in while Macey was a school!
Our camp looks beautiful! They have done and incredible job of planting these georgeous flowers all around camp. This picture taken of the girls was near the Surf House. Plus Caley just LOVES flowers so she didn't mind getting in the middle of them to have her picture taken!

We had some friends over for a bar-b-que except we couldn't get the grill going. They use butane here instead of propane. So the US adopter doesn't fit on the Saudi tanks. One of our friends had a regulator, brought it over but it didn't fit. So we ended up putting the chicken in the oven...still turned out yummy. After dinner the kids circled up to make ice cream in our ice cream maker (the ball looking thing in the picture!) It turned out okay more liquidly than ice cream! The had fun rolling and shaking it around!

Macey looks tired in the above picture or maybe she is just wondering why I am taking her picture!
Macey is just growing up way to fast! She is doing very well in school! Her teacher Mrs. King sent this picture to me and told me that the kids were told they could draw anything they wanted. This is what she drew. She wrote her name, Mom and Dad! So proud of her! And she did it all by herself!

Michael is so helpful and I took this because one he was doing the dishes and two he was wearing this head band that Macey wanted him to wear! He quickly called me a jerk when he heard the camera make its noise of taking a picture. He then also quickly removed the head band!!! Love him!!!
Here is are artist. She spent nearly and hour and half while Macey was a school painting. She takes her time to make sure her pictures are to her standards!
I love looking at this picture of Macey and trying to figure out what was going on in her mind.
We went bowling bowling as the girls call it with our neighbors and some of their friends. Here is a picture of Connie and Macey bowling. Macey kept saying she wanted Connie to help her bowl!

Just another crazy hair day for Caley. She is eating oatmeal while sitting on her slide outside!
A trip to the beach!
If you look real close in the Love picture the "v" is done with the girls feet. They just don't weigh enough to make a deep impression!

The Michael and I did the "v" with our feet!

\Silly faces!

Caley's school went on a field trip to the fire station here on camp. She was so excited to go. Caley's teacher also included Macey as on of her kids so she could go, too! The girls woke up early that morning so I had plenty of time to do their hair in braids!

As soon as we arrive both Macey and Caley went to a fireman, You can see Macey being carried and Caley was being carried by another guy!

Each child and mom had a place to sit with a bottle of water and a gift! So kind of them!

Checking out the gear!

They both went digging in the boots. Not sure what they thought they might find but it was pretty funny to watch!

Standing on the fire truck!

Macey's very curious face when the sirens from the truck were going off!

Inside the cab! Caley refused to go in. I think she got a little scared after the sirens went off.

This is has Caley rolls now days! She is so friendly to everyone. Partly because they just love her blonde hair, I think so they show her lots of attention. She has the act she puts on especially if she can finagle something from the person like candy or whatever!

We went on a bike ride, although Caley didn't make it very far after seeing the beach. So her and I played in the sand and took some selfies while Michael and Macey went riding!

We hope this find you doing well! Take care until next time!!!

Riding Bikes!

This weeks blog is a bit short since I posted my long one to catch up on Thursday but none the less we did a lot! Michael took Sandy to the airport on Wednesday. They were picked up at midnight from our house. The drive to the airport is about 45-50 minutes long. He helped her into the airport and made sure she got checked in before saying their goodbyes! He came home, quickly went to sleep since he still had to go to work on Thursday. So on Thursday he had to ride the bus to Dhahran for training. By the time he got home Thursday afternoon he was a wee bit tired. I got a picture of him snoozing but frankly he needed to rest!  Lucky for him Friday's are a much need rest day! I do have to say that I love Friday's around here. They are quiet. We tend to make a big breakfast and relax a good part of the day since all shops are closed outside of camp!

Both girls have learned to ride their bikes! This was a fun process to watch and help with. It took Macey only two days before she figured out the pattern! Caley took a little bit longer and was riding her trike very well so we talked to her and told her it was the same motion. She kept putting on the brakes and would say "I can't do it!" We worked with her and she finally figured it out! She would say "Look at me, I can do it!"  So after Michael gets home from work the girls ask "Can we go on a bike ride?" Our first attempt out was comical! Macey and Michael made it all the way to the surf house while Caley and I only made it to the corner of the board walk. Caley sees sand and has to get off her bike to play in it! So here she is playing in the sand!
She'll hate me for the picture below one day!

Here is Macey and Michael on their way back from the surf house!

The two pictures below are blurry but that is because we were all moving but gives you an idea of us biking together as a family! Fun times!!!

We have since only gone biking one other time. We decide to see if the girls could ride all the way to the commissary! They did fabulous and there wasn't one complaint from either one of them! We were gone from the house probably close to two and half hours. Now, we weren't riding the whole time! We did stop to get a few things at the commissary, let the girls have a snack and stopped to talk to a friend on our way home! Oh and there was the stopping to play at the playground and the collecting of some seashells! All in all we had a blast and look forward to many more bike rides together is this weather of ours gets a little warmer and stops raining!

On Thursday, I got a ring at the door and it was a couple of guys from gardening. I've called a couple of time to have a tree cut back but was told the gardening would call to schedule a time to do it. I was surprised to see them since I had not got a call. We had one tree that was on our roof plus scraping the awning( that we eventually want to screen in). So here is what they cut down. Macey is in the middle of the picture to give you and idea as to how much they cut down!

Oh the messy toy closet. I swear we pick it up all the time only for the girls to go play in there and destroy what we picked up! Here is Caley playing in the kitchen instead of play at the kitchen! Silly girl!

For Christmas the girls got several Halloween costumes to play dress-up with. Here is our cute Bat girl!!!

I do have to say that this was one of the days that we went on a bike ride. Macey refused to take her bat girl costume off. So she wore the boots, her mickey pj's , the costume and her helmet! I didn't get a picture but she looked pretty silly but she loved her cape flying in the back as she rode her bike!

As I post this today, today is Gammy's birthday. So, we are wishing screaming "HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GAMMY!

Until next time!
